How is this different from adding a filter afterward?

The film look is rendered live, in a single pass, before the frame is ever shown or saved — the viewfinder and the final file are always identical. There's no separate "apply filter" step because there's nothing left to apply.

Is there a watermark on my photos or videos?

No. Everything you capture is clean from edge to edge — no watermark, no locked films, ever.

Is it really a one-time purchase?

Yes. You pay once and every film, every lens, and every feature is unlocked, forever. No subscription, no in-app purchases, and no ads.

Do you collect my data?

No. Your photos and videos are processed and saved entirely on your device and are never uploaded anywhere. See the Privacy section below for the details.

Is there a limit on recording length?

No. The 36-exposure film counter you see is atmosphere, styled after a real roll of film — it never actually stops or limits your recording.

Live Vintage Camera is built to keep your content private. Here is exactly what that means — and it's also what we declare in the App Store's "Data Not Collected" privacy label.

  • No personal data collected.We don't ask for an account, a sign-in, or your identity to use the app.
  • No analytics, no third-party tracking.There are no analytics or advertising SDKs watching what you do. Crash insight comes only from Apple's opt-in crash reports and MetricKit — nothing is sent to us.
  • Everything stays on your device.Every photo and video is captured, processed, and saved entirely on your iPhone and is never uploaded to any server.
  • Photo library access is add-only.The app can save the photos and videos you capture to your library — it never reads your existing library.
  • No ads, so no ad networks.Because the app is paid once with no ads and no in-app purchases, there is nothing collecting your behavior to sell against.
